Random inspections of all building works are undertaken by the Building Surveyor to ensure that the building complies with Council's regulations, local laws, the Building Code of Australia and the approved plans and specifications.
Building Permit Application
A building permit is required to be granted by the Town prior to commencing any building or alteration, addition, restoration or repair to a building. The term "building" includes a dwelling, outbuilding, carport, patio, pergola, retaining wall, terrace/decking, swimming pool, spa or the like.
