Development Applications

Any applications for the construction of or additions to any building, or any change of use, requires the submission of an Application for Development Approval and must conform to the requirements of the Council's Town Planning Scheme.

In cases where Council considers that a proposal may affect the amenity of the adjoining properties, the landowners are given the opportunity to comment prior to the submission of an Application for Development Approval, in order to establish the requirements for inclusions in applications.

Subdivision Applications

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) through the Department of Planning is responsible for determining subdivision applications.
The Town of Mosman Park is only a referral body that provides comments on, rather than determining subdivision applications.
