Three-bin System Update - 23.7.2019
Good progress has been made in transitioning to a three-bin system. The roll out of the garden organic (lime green-lidded) bins to eligible properties (400m² or larger) was completed Friday 28 June 2019.
Due to unforeseen issues with our suppliers, changing the dark green lids on the general waste bins for red lids has been delayed.
Our contractor has advised that new stock of red-lidded bins is expected by the second week of August, and they aim to change over the dark green lids for red ones in the week of Monday 19 August to Friday 23 August 2019.
A letter from SUEZ, our contractor, will be delivered to all affected properties advising when to put your bins out so that the lids can be changed.
