Christmas Fun at The Grove

It might seem early to be talking about Christmas but the cheery gang at The Grove are already getting into the spirit and have devised a festive feast of fun this year.

Kids Christmas Colouring Competition
Hey kids release the artist within. Colour in one of our Christmas pictures for a chance to win a kids craft pack prize for Christmas.  Competition opens Monday 11 November 2019 and closes Wednesday 18 December 2019 at 6pm.  Winners will be notified Thursday 19 December. All entries will be displayed in the library.

Christmas Conifer decorations for The Grove Christmas Tree
Hey kids join us for a very special event in the library as we decorate the library Christmas tree. With paint and glitter we shall transform conifers into beautiful ornaments which shall adorn the library’s tree over the festive period.
When: Sunday 1 December 2019
Time: 12.30pm – 1.30pm

Christmas Banner Craft
In this craft we will get in the festive spirit while you design and make your own personalised Christmas banner for family and friends.
When: Saturday 7 December 2019
Time: 10.00am – 1.00pm
Suitable for ages 5-12

Christmas with Glenn Swift + Santa Claus
Gather around, curl up and get ready for Christmas with an extraordinary story time with Glenn Swift.  This is a traditional family friendly event so we encourage all the young and the   young-at-heart to head down to The Grove Library.  We have also asked Santa to make an appearance and, even though he will be very busy, he said yes! Time: 6:30 – 7.30pm

And please note that the Library will be closed from 24 December 2019 – 1 Jan 2020.  The Grove team will welcome you all again when they reopen on Tuesday 2 January 2020.  Library items can be returned anytime via the after-hours chute.
