Code of Conduct – Councillors, committee members, candidates
As of 3 February 2021, Council Members, Committee Members and Candidates are guided by the Local Government (Model Code of Conduct) Regulations 2021 to embrace a minimum standard of professional conduct. The Code of Conduct as required under Section 5.103 of the Local Government Act now only applies to staff. Code of Conduct – Employees
Prior to the introduction in February 2021 of the Model Code of Conduct for councillors, committee members and candidates, the Code of Conduct endorsed in 2017 applied. This version is currently under review and until an updated version is endorsed still applies to employees.
