We are committing to sound strategy and governance, excellence in customer service, and effective and sincere engagement with stakeholders.
We know that when it comes to good governance, actions speak louder than words.
So what have we put into action? We’ve continued to manage risk and implement processes to keep the community, Councillors and staff safe.
Other initiatives we’ve implemented include digitising planning and building applications and modernisation of internal processes. Council has also focused on continuing to build its suite of governance-related policies during the year, including those required to implement the State’s reform agenda.
