Park maintenance and access

Mosman Park is home to over 30 parks and reserves, from quaint corner parks to open green spaces and sports ovals.

They can be accessed and used for a variety of activities. Take a trip through our green and clean Town and explore our parks and reserves here

Access

Access to all our parks and reserves is available to all visitors and residents of the Town.

However, from time to time, there will be a number of different activities that require special access or use of public areas. Activities that require approval from Technical Services may include:

  • opening a gate to a park/reserve
  • access to the rear of your property through a park/reserve
  • access for vehicles for events/functions
  • park hire and access for animal farms or other such functions.

With this variety of options available, you are however required to complete a Public or Private Event Application form for any activity that falls under that category.

If you require access to the Park you will need to complete a Park/Gate Access Form to obtain a key after paying a bond, which will be refunded upon inspection.

Information relating to the requirements for these applications can be found under the Services Tab and fees and charges may apply.

The Town controls access to parks to ensure they are kept at a safe and acceptable condition for the entire community at all times.

There is also concerns with vandalism, anti-social behaviour and accidental damage to assets such as irrigation and plants. As such there is to be no vehicle access, or events within any of the Towns parks or reserve without formal written permission from the Town.
