Private events are generally invitation only and quite small. They are usually low risk as the event organiser knows who is going to attend and what risks there will be to manage. Examples of private events include weddings, birthday parties and picnics. If you are planning on holding a private event at a Council park or reserve you may need to apply to the Town first. To check venue availability please contact the Project Officer Community on 9383 6600 prior to completing the Event Application form. Applications for private events are to be received no less than 4 weeks and no greater than 12 months prior to the requested date.
