COVID-19 Information Updates

Keep up to date with what the Town is doing in response to the novel coronavirus situation.

Street Trees

The Town is always looking for more places to plant new street trees during planting season. If your verge does not currently have a tree, or you would like to request additional trees, please complete a Request for Verge Tree and return it to the Administration Centre or email it into the Town to Limited trees are purchased every year, and planting is done on both a needs basis for the overall street, and on a first come, first served basis in other instances.

There are a number of reasons for why you may wish to have permission to prune a street tree or to request its removal. The Town has a number of steps it follows before either of these options are approved for residents.  As a rule, residents are not permitted to prune or remove street/verge trees without prior authorisation.

Should you wish to prune the street tree or apply to remove you will need to complete an Application for Permit to Prune/Remove Tree (s) and email it to, or bring us a completed copy in person or post to The Town of Mosman Park, PO Box 3, Mosman Park WA 6912.

The Town will complete an inspection on the tree you are applying to remove or prune, and if it is deemed to be in healthy condition, someone will contact you with information regarding your options.

Street trees in the Town of Mosman Park will not be removed unless they are dead, dying or diseased falling in line with our Street Tree Pruning, Removal and Replacement Policy
