Commencing in early September 2025, the Town will apply Stadium selective herbicide where required predominately in grassed areas at Town sports fields, parks and reserve locations to control selective weed species. Common weeds targeted include Bindii, clover, and capeweed. To minimise the Town’s use of herbicides, only areas of infestation are treated in parks and reserves.

Appropriate signage will be in place for duration of spraying works at each location and will remain in place until the herbicide is dry.  Please refrain from walking on the grassed areas at these locations whilst the signs are in place.
