Welcome to our close-knit community between river and ocean.
We’re thrilled you’ve chosen Mosman Park as your new home. Our residents enjoy a vibrant and diverse range of facilities and events – as well as an enviable lifestyle – that makes Mosman Park truly unique.
Our beautiful Town has long been a mecca for boaties, fishermen and beach lovers.
Located in the western suburbs of Perth, approximately 15km from the CBD and 5km north of Fremantle, Mosman Park is nestled between the picturesque Indian Ocean and the Swan River.
Mosman Park is historically known as Buckland Hill (1889-1909), then Cottesloe Beach (1909-1930) and again Buckland Hill (1930-1937). From 1937 it was named Mosman Park; derived from Mosman Sydney – the birthplace of Richard Yeldon, a member of the Buckland Hill Road Board.
Mosman Park – as we know it today – is a vibrant area that over 9,000 residents proudly call home. With over 50 local businesses weaving a unique sense of community through the rich tapestry of our suburb, the aspirations of our community are at the heart of everything we do, and stand for.
As we look towards the future, it’s equally important for us to begin our journey of honouring and respecting our shared history.
Below are some helpful links to help you – as a new resident – settle into your neighbourhood and become part of our community.
We hope you enjoy being part of our wonderful Town as much as we do.
