The Town of Mosman Park has adopted its inaugural Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2026-2031, which is a five-year roadmap to support the physical, mental, and social health and wellbeing of everyone in our community. The plan aligns with the Public Health Act 2016 (WA), the State Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2025–2030, and our local strategies.
In developing the plan, we considered state public health objectives, local health trends and evidence, existing amenities and community and stakeholder feedback. The plan helps the Town prioritise actions, coordinate services, and work with partners to create a healthier, more resilient Mosman Park. It considers everyday factors that affect health and wellbeing-like housing, green spaces, safety, social connection, and access to services – factors which can be influenced at a local level.
The plan contains actions which aim to protect, promote, support and improve health and wellbeing by strengthening existing services and linking with additional support services. Progress of actions will be reviewed annually.
