Upcoming power outage – 21 and 22 April

Planned power outage affecting parts of Mosman Park from Tues 21 April, 7pm - Wed 22 April, 5am. Power will need to be temporarily switched off to ensure the safety of crews and the wider community while this work is carried out. This outage is required to allow for essential electricity maintenance in the area.

Who can vote?

You are eligible to vote in the Town of Mosman Parks local government elections if:

  1. You live in a property you own in Mosman Park and are enrolled on the State Electoral Roll; or
  2. You occupy residential or commercial property in Mosman Park and have been approved to be on the Town’s owner/occupier roll.

You must also be 18 years of age or older, and an Australian citizen.

All Town of Mosman Park residents who are enrolled on the State electoral roll are automatically enrolled on the local government roll. You must make sure you are correctly enrolled, and your details are up to date before the next local government election.

 

Eligibility to Enrol as an Owner Occupier

If you own or occupy rateable property within the Town of Mosman Park, you may be eligible to enrol on the Owner/Occupier Roll. This allows you to vote in local government elections, even if you don’t live in the property.

If you do meet the voting eligibility criteria, complete the Enrolment Eligibility Form and send to the Town of Mosman Park Chief Executive Officer through one of the below methods:

  • In-person: Administration Building (1 Memorial Drive, Mosman Park)

Multiple Ownership/Occupation

Where more than two eligible voters own or occupy a property, the owners or occupiers may nominate two of the eligible voters among them to be added to the Owner Occupier Roll.

This provision also applies to property owned or occupied by a body corporate.

Claims can be made on the Enrolment Eligibility Claim Form
