Draft Strategic Community Plan 2021-2031 open for comment

Let us know what you think of our Draft Strategic Community Plan 2021-2031 and help us plan Mosman Park’s future for the next 10 years.

The Town of Mosman Park’s Draft SCP reflects your courage, ideas, hopes, imagination – and your love for neighbourhood and home. The development of a Reconciliation Action Plan, a CCTV Strategy and a focus on youth employment opportunities are some of the key outcomes that will address today’s challenges with future-focused solutions.

Three central themes guide how the next ten years will look in Mosman Park:

  • Connecting | We are a welcoming and inclusive Town where community spirit and connection is alive and celebrated.
  • Sustaining | We are innovative in delivering services that are cost effective, future-focused and sustainable.
  • Thriving | We are a vibrant and progressive Town to live, work, raise a family and do business.

The SCP is a legislative requirement for all local governments in Western Australia. It is a key tool in helping us plan the Town’s priorities for the next ten years.

The Draft SCP 2021-2031 reflects the biggest community engagement process the Town has embarked on in its 62-year history.

Take a read of our Draft SCP and submit your thoughts by 23 August here
