Last Sunday, the Town of Mosman Park welcomed more than 50 enthusiastic volunteers to the annual Community Planting Day – one of the biggest turnouts in recent years.
Over the course of just two hours, volunteers planted 600 locally native species, contributing to the ongoing restoration and preservation of Mosman Park’s unique bushland.
The event was supported by the dedicated Friends of Mosman Park Bushland, whose local knowledge and hands-on assistance continue to be invaluable. Their efforts, combined with returning families and first-time volunteers, helped make the day a true community success.
The Town of Mosman Park would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated. Community-driven initiatives like this play a vital role in supporting local biodiversity and fostering a sense of stewardship for our green spaces.
