Upcoming power outage – 21 and 22 April

Planned power outage affecting parts of Mosman Park from Tues 21 April, 7pm - Wed 22 April, 5am. Power will need to be temporarily switched off to ensure the safety of crews and the wider community while this work is carried out. This outage is required to allow for essential electricity maintenance in the area.

Do you know someone in Mosman Park who goes above and beyond for our community? Nominations are now open for the 2026 Community Citizen of the Year Awards, and it’s time to celebrate the outstanding individuals and groups who make a positive impact in our local area.

The Community Citizen of the Year Awards gives us the opportunity to celebrate the positive impact of individuals and groups who are engaged and committed to our local area. Whether they are a nominee or recipient, we can all celebrate their outstanding contribution, because we’re all part of the story. Recognising local heroes for more than 20 years, the Awards are made up of four categories:

  • Community Citizen of the Year (individuals over 16 years)
  • Young Community Citizen of the Year (16–30 years)
  • Senior Community Citizen of the Year (65 years and over)
  • Active Citizenship (community groups or events)

Nominations can be made for contributions to education, health, fundraising, voluntary services, business, sports, arts, culture, the environment, social inclusion or any other area that enhances the wellbeing of our community. For the full criteria, visit citizenshipawards.com.au/criteria
