Outdoor cinema at Memorial Hall progressing

The Town is continuing to work closely with the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) to reintroduce the highly anticipated film season at Memorial Hall. At this current stage, we are aiming towards a shorter film season starting late February to March 2024.

While initial indications suggested a mid-December return, due to unforeseen circumstances including sourcing the high-tech equipment required to host outdoor movies, we feel optimistic about the 2024 start date.

This remains a complex process for everyone involved and, while there’s a lot to work through, our goal remains unchanged: to have the films return to Memorial Hall as soon as possible.

We’re committed to bringing back the magic of movies to our community, and will continue to keep everyone informed on how this is progressing when more information comes to hand.
