Turf renovations coming to Nash Field

To keep Nash Field in great condition for everyone to enjoy, important turf renovation works will be taking place from Monday, 17 November to Monday, 8 December 2025. During this time, the field will be closed to allow the works to be completed safely and efficiently.

The renovation program, undertaken by the Western Knights, will include a series of specialised treatments such as hollow coring, low mowing, vertimowing, sweeping, spreading quality lawn followed by dragging, and fertilising. Together, these steps help improve drainage, promote healthy turf growth, and create a smooth, resilient playing surface that performs well year-round.

These regular maintenance works are an important part of looking after our sporting facilities and ensuring they remain safe, high-quality spaces for both players and the wider community to enjoy. The field is expected to reopen on Tuesday, 9 December, just in time for summer sport and community activities to continue.

The Town of Mosman Park thanks the Western Knights for their ongoing commitment to maintaining Nash Field and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while these essential works take place.
