Council endorses draft LPP30 – McCabe Precinct

The Draft Local Planning Policy 30 – McCabe Precinct: Context and Character was endorsed at the November Ordinary Council Meeting.

Public consultation on draft LPP30 will open on Monday 28 November to give the community another opportunity to provide feedback on whether the aspirations for the McCabe Precinct are accurately captured in the character statements, or whether modifications are required.

Feedback from the preliminary community consultation that took place during September and October this year has been used to create local character statements. This has now informed the future aspirations of the McCabe Precinct into Draft LPP30.

We would like to hear from you again to ensure the Town has translated your feedback accurately. By taking part in this second round of consultation, your feedback will help us ensure that the character statements encapsulate your desired future aspirations for the McCabe Precinct.

This will provide developers with a clear vision of community expectations and influence future development in the Precinct.

The Town is always striving to advocate for the best possible outcomes for our community. So it’s really important to get involved and have your say on the Draft Local Planning Policy 30 – McCabe Precinct: Context and Character.
