Online Services: Frequently Asked Questions

Great news! We have recently expanded the functionality of our Online Services Portal to allow payment of rates and infringements.

You are welcome to use our existing payment page for the short term, however this will be disabled in the coming weeks as the community becomes familiar with using the improved functionality of our Online Services.

Please note, you do not need to create an account to pay an infringement – simply click HERE.

A detailed user guide for Online Services can be found here, however you can find the answers to some key questions listed below.

Our Online Services portal now offers the ability to do the following:

       Book a venue (parks, halls and sporting fields) within the Town for an event

       Pay a parking infringement

       Request a copy of your rates notice

       Pay your rates (with or without a verified account)

       Request waiver of an animal fine

       Contact us to report a problem or ask a question

Please open this link and then click Log In, and click on Sign Up Here to register.

 

For one-time payments, registration is not required, however we encourage all residents to set up a registered account.

Creating an account allows you to view your payment history and download invoices and receipts. If you are a property owner in the Town, your account will also contain rates information such as the current balance outstanding and due dates.

When you register for a new account, our team will review it and endeavour to approve it within 5 business days. You will be notified via email once approved.

At present, Online Services allows you to pay your property rates or a parking infringement, with additional services coming soon.

Payments can be made by Visa or Mastercard. If you wish to pay using an AMEX card, please call our Customer Support team on 9383 6600 to make payment.

Your privacy and security when paying online is of the utmost importance to us; we use secure encryption protocols to protect your personal and financial information. We do not store your credit card details.

A payment reference number will be listed on your rates notice, infringement notice or invoice. Please ensure you enter the correct number to avoid processing delays.

A cost recovery fee applies to all payments to the Town, whether online or via phone.

Please note, AMEX transactions can only be made over the phone.

You are welcome to pay online, however please call us first to ascertain any additional interest fees incurred to ensure you are paying the total amount due in full.

Please note, interest charges incurred will not be waived.

Parking infringements are uploaded to our system as quickly as possible, however may take one or two days to appear and be available for payment. If your infringement is not yet available, please try again the next day and call us if it still has not appeared.

The personal details in your Online Services account are separate to the Town’s official records.
