Safety update: Mann Oval Light Tower to be removed following safety assessment

The Town of Mosman Park is advising residents of important safety works underway at Mann Oval, following a recent structural assessment that identified the urgent need to remove the light tower on the eastern side of the oval. A replacement light tower is already on order, and updates will be provided on installation timelines as they become available.

The Town of Mosman Park invites you to join WMRC for an interactive and engaging workshop on how to go beyond the bin and live a more sustainable lifestyle. Learn how to reduce waste and embrace a circular economy in this hands-on session!

What will you learn?

  • How GREAT Sorts are putting 60% less waste in the landfill bin and how you can too
  • Simple ways to go low-waste by reducing resource use and reusing common items
  • Where to take tricky items that don’t fit into your three-bin system at home
  • WA’s transition to a more circular economy and how you can get involved

What to bring?
Bring one clean waste item that you struggle to recycle, and get expert advice on how to deal with it.

Who can attend?
This workshop is ideal for:

  • Those looking to extend their waste knowledge
  • Individuals interested in embracing the circular economy and living a more sustainable life
  • Families – kids are welcome with an adult present!

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
