Gas Pipeline Construction Works – Solomon Street, Mosman Park

ATCO will be undertaking essential gas pipeline upgrades along Solomon Street in Mosman Park until December 5 2025. These works are part of the Swan River Crossing project led by Main Roads WA, which requires ATCO to upgrade existing gas infrastructure between Fremantle and Cottesloe to support the construction of the new Fremantle Bridge.

Construction will occur in stages on weekdays between 7am and 5pm, with works focused on the road reserve and verges adjacent to Mosman Park Primary School, between Lochee Street and Victoria Street.
To facilitate the upgrades, temporary road closures and restricted access to public carparks will be in place. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout, and ATCO will notify residents directly if any work is required outside standard hours.

Residents and businesses may notice some dust, noise, and minor vibrations during construction. ATCO is working closely with contractors to minimise disruption and ensure compliance with council noise guidelines. Occasional gas venting may occur, but this poses no health risk.

Any questions or issues regarding the closures can be directed to ATCO at communityfeedback@atco.com or contacting ATCO on 13 13 52.
