Help Shape Safer Streets in Mosman Park

Earlier this year, the Town invited the community to share their experiences, concerns and ideas about road safety across Mosman Park.

Community feedback provided valuable local insight, highlighting areas where residents, parents, students, pedestrians, cyclists and drivers feel improvements could make our streets safer and more accessible.

Since the close of the first consultation phase, the Town has worked with traffic and transport specialists PJA to review community feedback alongside traffic data, previous safety studies, strategic planning documents and other relevant information. This work has helped identify key priority areas and develop a range of potential treatments aimed at improving safety for all road users.

The proposed priorities have been informed by a combination of community feedback, traffic data, safety audits, previous studies and strategic planning objectives, ensuring recommendations are grounded in both local experience and technical analysis.

We are now seeking community feedback on the outcomes of this work.

This second phase of consultation focuses on:

  • Priority locations identified for safety improvements; and
  • Proposed treatments and initiatives recommended for consideration.

Your feedback will help us understand whether the proposed priorities and treatments reflect community needs and local experiences before recommendations are finalised and presented to Council for consideration.

We encourage residents, ratepayers, businesses, schools and community members to review the proposals and share their views at https://yoursay.mosmanpark.wa.gov.au/urban-road-safety
