Paul Shaw to become Town Mayor

Councillor Paul Shaw has been elected unopposed as the Town’s Mayor-elect.

The announcement was made by the Returning Officer earlier this month, ahead of the Local Government election on 16 October. Paul will be officially sworn in as Mayor in mid-October.

Paul has been a Councillor with the Town for the past four years, and brings to his new Mayoral role a dedication to serve the Mosman Park community in areas of underground power, greening the Town, waste management, supporting community groups and much more. The next chapter sees the Town working together with our new Mayor to continue putting our community first and help bring our new Strategic Community Plan to life.

We thank and acknowledge our outgoing Mayor Brett Pollock for his impactful and significant contribution to Mosman Park.

An election for the three councillor seats will proceed as normal, with six candidates vying for the seats.
