The Town of Mosman Park has adopted its inaugural Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2026-2031
Adopted at the September Council Meeting, this five-year roadmap supports the physical, mental and social health and wellbeing of everyone in the community.
Aligned with the Public Health Act 2016 (WA), the State Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2025-2030 and the Town’s local strategies, it reflects a considered approach. In developing the Plan, the Town considered State public health objectives, local health trends and evidence, existing amenities, and community and stakeholder feedback.
Through this roadmap, the Town will prioritise actions, coordinate services and work with partners to create a healthier, more resilient Mosman Park. Everyday factors that affect health and wellbeing, such as housing, green spaces, safety, social connection and access to services, are considered because they can be influenced at a local level.
Actions within the Plan aim to protect, promote, support and improve health and wellbeing by strengthening existing services and linking with additional support services. Progress of actions will be reviewed annually.
