Safety update: Mann Oval Light Tower to be removed following assessment

The Town of Mosman Park is advising residents of important safety works underway at Mann Oval, following a recent structural assessment that identified the urgent need to remove the light tower on the eastern side of the oval.

To ensure public safety, the area surrounding the affected light tower – including a number of car parks near Memorial Hall – has been cordoned off with bollards and bunting. The Town is working quickly to address the issue, with plans to remove the tower within the week.

A replacement light tower is already on order, and updates will be provided on installation timelines as they become available.

We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding during this time. These precautionary measures are essential to maintaining the safety and usability of Mann Oval for local sporting groups, residents, and visitors.
