Town of Mosman Park achieves Three Ribbon RoadWise Council status

The Town of Mosman Park is proud to announce it has been awarded two additional RoadWise Ribbons at the 2025 WALGA Local Government Awards, officially recognising the Town as a three ribbon council under the WALGA RoadWise Recognised initiative.

This achievement reflects the expansion and effectiveness of the Town’s road safety activities between April 2024 and March 2025. The two successful submissions for this year’s awards were:

  • A review of the Town’s Fleet Policy, which promotes the purchase of safer and more environmentally friendly vehicles
  • The Sunset Eats Road Safety Promotion held in February 2024, funded by a $5,000 Road Safety Grant and attended by approximately 700 people

The RoadWise Ribbons recognise local governments that take a holistic approach to road safety, engaging staff across the organisation and delivering initiatives that contribute to a safer local road network.

The Town will continue to plan, implement and share road safety actions in partnership with WALGA’s RoadWise program to make Mosman Park’s roads safer for everyone.
