Upcoming power outage – 21 and 22 April

Planned power outage affecting parts of Mosman Park from Tues 21 April, 7pm - Wed 22 April, 5am. Power will need to be temporarily switched off to ensure the safety of crews and the wider community while this work is carried out. This outage is required to allow for essential electricity maintenance in the area.

WA Government announces Stolen Generations Redress Scheme

The WA Government has recently announced the Stolen Generations Redress Scheme, created to recognise the harm and trauma experienced by Aboriginal people who were removed from their families in Western Australia prior to 1 July 1972.

Under the scheme, eligible applicants will receive a payment of $85,000 in recognition of this impact. Family members may also apply on behalf of loved ones who passed away on or after 27 May 2025.

Applications are expected to open in the second half of 2025.
