A fresh new look is coming to Glyde St

We’re excited to share that Council has officially adopted the Glyde Street Streetscape Masterplan – a bold new vision to create a vibrant, welcoming, and accessible heart for our community. The plan celebrates Glyde Street’s unique character while introducing greener spaces, safer walking, upgraded public amenities, and improved street design.

With adoption now complete, the Operations Team will move forward with detailed designs and implement short-term priority projects in Zone 1 in consultation with our community. Development proposals along Glyde Street will contribute to upgrades through community benefit contributions and the Town will investigate grant funding opportunities.

The Operations Team will also be investigating existing parking studies to consider how the Town can further enhance parking availability in the vicinity.
