Better Together – NVW 2022

During National Volunteer Week (16-22 May), we’re celebrating all the amazing local volunteers that help us make Mosman Park a thriving and buzzing place to be.

This year’s theme is Better Together, where through volunteering, we are changing communities for the better. Mosman Park Junior Football Club is one such organisation who are are achieving positive, generational outcomes for our youngest residents through sport. With a team of dedicated volunteers, they work tirelessly towards their mission – to maintain a friendly, fun, inclusive grassroots football club.

2022 shapes to be the biggest year ever for Mosman Park Junior Football Club. The team of dedicated parent volunteers aim to increase participation across all age groups, including having all-girls junior football available for the first time in Mosman Park.

The volunteer group continue to maintain a strong relationship with the volunteers of the Mosman Park Senior Football Club. The Senior club are introducing a Women’s and a Master’s team also for the first time; so there is football for the whole family at Mosman Park in 2022.

The President of Mosman Park Junior Football club said, “we realise many hands make light work so this year we have added a non-executive committee to augment the executive committee. It was overwhelming to see that we had more volunteers than we had positions. It is testament to the community spirit and sense of belonging that exists within the Mosman Park Junior Football Club that so many are willing to give up their time and offer their expertise as a volunteer.”

With community engagement as our pivotal focus; this will foster an environment where our members and their family and friends feel a sense of pride and belonging.

Mosman Park Junior Football Club would like to thank all its volunteers, both executive and non-executive.
