Brainstorm playground ideas for Stringfellow Park

Stringfellow Park playground will be getting an upgrade and we are now seeking feedback from the community as to what kind of play equipment you’d like to see!

The playground upgrade forms part of the 2021/22 Council Budget. The current playground at Stringfellow Park has come to the end of its useable life and therefore needs replacing to ensure it is safe to play on.

The upgrade will include the removal of all existing equipment, and then new play equipment installed in the same area (between Hayes Terrace and Read Avenue).

When will the playground be replaced?

Based on contractor availability, weather conditions and procurement, decommissioning the existing playground will commence in autumn 2022. We anticipate the new playground to be ready to play on by 30 June 2022.

How do I have my say?

Submit your ideas online at https://yoursay.mosmanpark.wa.gov.au/playground

The new play equipment should be suitable for children aged 6-14 years and be able to accommodate the existing shade sail structures. Your feedback, along with pre-existing requirements and financial viability will inform the new playground design.
