Container Exchange Points installed in Mosman Park

15 Container Exchange Points have been installed across Mosman Park.
These exchange points are attached to existing bins to help reduce recyclable waste going to landfill.
The majority of recoverable recyclable material found in public waste bins is made up of eligible 10¢ containers, along with some cardboard packaging often contaminated with food, and non-recyclable coffee cups.
These Container Exchange Points offer a simple, easy to understand, and highly recognisable solution to support the public in their ability to save 10¢ containers from landfill, whilst giving community members who value them, a dignified way to collect these to return to their nearest refund point.

To use simply:
1. Finish your drink
2. Place your eligible 10c container in the Container Exchange Point
3. Interested community members collect the containers from the Exchange Points to redeem 10c per container via a Containers for Change refund point.
These Container Exchange Points are part of a trial in collaboration with WA Return Recycle Renew.
Below is a map of the current Container Exchange Points in the Town.
