Latest COVID-19 update

We’re committed to prioritising the health and wellbeing of our community.

Please refer to the WA Government page and directives. We also highly encourage you to keep up to date with COVID exposure sites here
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together to help keep you, your family and our community safe.

Nearest COVID-19 testing locations

To continue our fight against community transmission, it’s important to get tested if you’re feeling unwell.

Our nearest COVID testing clinics are:

  • Western Diagnostic drive-through clinic (no appointment necessary)
  • Claremont Showground, 1 Graylands Road
  • Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, C Block, Hospital Avenue, Nedlands
This especially applies to anyone who was at the potential exposure locations. Even if you’ve already tested negative, it is crucial that you get tested again if you develop symptoms.

Contact registers and the SafeWA app

To continue keeping WA safe and strong and help limit transmission of COVID-19, it is now mandatory for most businesses and venues in WA to maintain a contact register by collecting contact details of patrons attending their premises, including customers, staff, contractors, and visitors.

Individuals must check-in at businesses via the SafeWA app or a paper-based contact register. Individuals could face penalties if they fail to check in. As always, a common-sense approach will apply.

If you don’t have the app, there are paper-based registers as well and the details will only be used for contact tracing if required. These measures will help to protect you and your neighbours as well as the broader community.

Contact registers will allow for targeted contact tracing, should it be required. This information will not be used for any other purpose and will be kept securely for 28 days.

Use of contact registers will become a shared responsibility and individuals will now also face penalties if they fail to scan in using either SafeWA app or the contact register available.
