Our Town of Mosman Park team recently spent time at Mosman Beach planting around 45 small coastal shrubs near the beach access stairs. Among the plants were several hardy, spikey species placed along the fence line to help protect and strengthen the dune area.
These plantings are an important part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to support local ecosystems. Over time, they will help stabilise the sand, provide habitat for native wildlife, and contribute to the overall health of our coastal environment.
Caring for natural spaces is a key part of our community’s identity. Initiatives like this planting day help ensure the beauty and resilience of Mosman Park’s coastline is preserved for current and future generations to enjoy.
