2025 Home Maintenance Course

Looking to build your DIY confidence or learn how to handle basic repairs around the house? The Mosman Park Men’s Shed is once again running its well-regarded Home Maintenance Course – a hands-on, practical introduction to everyday home maintenance skills.

Open to everyone aged 18 and over (all genders welcome), this course is ideal for beginners wanting to feel more capable using tools and tackling common household tasks.

Course Dates

Fridays: August 29, September 5 and September 12, 2025
Time: 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Location: Mosman Park Men’s Shed, 1 Perrott Close, Mosman Park

Over three sessions, participants will learn about:

  • Common hand and power tools – how to use them safely and effectively
  • Paintwork repairs, doors, hinges, locks, picture hanging and more
  • Basic plumbing, tiling, reticulation, roof and window maintenance
  • Each session includes practical, hands-on learning and afternoon tea.

Cost

$90 per person – includes all materials and refreshments.

How to Book

Bookings are essential and must include payment.

Online: Visit mpms.org.au, go to Events > Home Maintenance, click the Get Tickets button and follow the prompts to register and pay.

In Person: Visit the Shed during opening hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, or Saturday 8:30am to 12:00pm) to register and pay by cash or credit card.

Please note: payments on the day will not be accepted.
