Bin collection change this Anzac Day long weekend.

There’ll be no bin collection on Anzac Friday (25 April) due to the public holiday. Instead, bins will be collected on Saturday 26 April.

The Town of Mosman Park is excited to promote this fun and inclusive workshop, run by the Western Metropolitan Regional Council (WMRC), to help you learn the basics of waste sorting at home and take the first step toward a more sustainable lifestyle.

What will you learn?

  • How to sort your household waste into your 3-bin system at home
  • What happens to recycling, FOGO, and general waste
  • Where your verge bulk and green waste goes after it leaves the kerb
  • The history of Perth’s waste management and how our current systems came to be

What to bring?
Please bring one clean waste item that you struggle to recycle. WMRC experts will provide advice on how to manage it.

Who can attend?
This workshop is perfect for:

  • New residents of Town of Mosman Park
  • Anyone looking for help with waste sorting
  • Those starting their sustainability or waste management journey
  • Families – kids are welcome with an adult present!

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
