Mos Lane Construction Update – Wellington Street Closure and Bus Stop Relocation

From Monday 6 to Friday 10 October, Wellington Street (westbound lane) will be temporarily closed from 7am to 7pm daily to support the relocation of bus stop #19660 from Manning Street to Wellington Street.

To accommodate the new stop, three existing parking bays on Wellington Street will be removed. This change ensures the stop meets accessibility and safety standards for public transport users.

  • Remaining bays on Wellington Street will still be accessible, drivers will need to travel eastbound and perform a U-turn to park in the diagonal bays near the shops.
  • Traffic controllers will be on-site to assist pedestrians and ensure safe access.
  • This bus stop relocation will remain in place until the Mos Lane construction is complete.
  • The Wellington Street local shops will remain open and operating during this time – please come down and support our local businesses.
  • If you’re visiting the shops, please keep to the allocated parking times so that customers can continue to easily access our local businesses.
