Mosman Bay Foreshore currently closed

We regret to inform you that a large section of the Mosman Bay foreshore is temporarily closed effective immediately.

The weather conditions caused by the cyclone in Western Australia’s north has resulted in high tides and erosion to the foreshore wall, making the area unsafe for public use.

To ensure the safety of our community, temporary fencing has been set up around the impacted area.

The closure spans from Mosmans restaurant and north to the Johnston Street Boat Ramp. Unfortunately, we expect the high tides to persist throughout the long weekend and kindly ask that you avoid the area within the fence.

We are actively developing both short-term and long-term solutions for the necessary remedial work required and are treating this matter with the utmost urgency. We will provide regular updates as we progress in resolving the situation.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding. Please know that the safety of our community remains our top priority.
