Mosman Park Bicycle User Group (Mos BUG) enhances local bike safety

The Town of Mosman Park is thrilled to recognize the incredible work of the Mosman Park Bicycle User Group (Mos BUG), who have been making great strides to improve bike safety and raise awareness within our community. Thanks to a grant from The Town Team Movement, Mos BUG have been working hard to activate local spaces, with their latest project bringing new life to the pedestrian path between Stirling Highway and Victoria Street.

The Mos BUG team rolled up their sleeves and got creative, transforming the footpath into a beautiful gradient of colours that flow from ocean blues to beachy tones and lush parkland greens. Not only is it visually striking, but this design also encourages safer and more visible cycling—helping both cyclists and pedestrians feel more confident on the road.

We’re proud to have supported the Mos BUG by providing our endorsement to help facilitate the approvals process. It’s inspiring to see our local community come together for such a thoughtful, impactful initiative. This is just one example of how small acts of community collaboration can make a big difference.

If you’re passionate about cycling, local initiatives, or want to be part of something impactful, consider joining the Town Team and helping us keep the momentum going. Together, we can continue to make Mosman Park an even better place to live, work, and ride!

Come and check out the beautiful new footpath makeover—let’s keep the conversation rolling and celebrate what we can achieve as a community!
