Public Art Framework adopted to support creativity

The Town of Mosman Park is proud to announce the adoption of its 2025 Public Arts Framework, marking an exciting step forward in supporting and celebrating creativity across our community.

Adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 28 October 2025, the Framework brings together three key documents:

  • Local Planning Policy No. 36 – Public Art Contributions
  • Council Policy – Public Art
  • Public Arts Strategy

Together, these documents provide clear guidance on how public art will be integrated throughout Mosman Park – enriching public spaces, fostering creativity, and showcasing the unique character and stories of our Town.

From large-scale public installations to smaller, community-led projects, the Framework sets a shared vision for how art can be woven into our urban landscape and everyday experiences.

The Public Arts Framework documents can be accessed on the Town’s website through the Planning Policies, Council Policies and Planning Strategies pages.

The Town looks forward to continuing its collaboration with local artists, residents and community organisations to bring more creative projects to life across Mosman Park. Stay tuned for updates as new works begin to shape and inspire our public spaces.
