Treebate: help make Mosman Park Greener
The Town of Mosman Park is encouraging residents to take part in a new State Government initiative aimed at boosting Western Australia’s urban tree canopy – and there’s a cash incentive to get involved. The Treebate program, launched on 28 July 2025, offers up to 10,000 rebates each year for the next four years, helping Western Australians plant more native trees in their own backyards.
Eligible residents can claim up to $150 back when they purchase and plant an approved native tree that reaches at least three metres in height at maturity.
The process is simple:
-
Buy a native tree from a local nursery
-
Plant it in your garden
-
Claim your rebate through the ServiceWA app
To claim successfully, residents must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Purchase a native tree that meets the minimum height requirement
- Keep a tax invoice as proof of purchase
- Take a photo of the plant label showing the common or scientific name
The ServiceWA app is the fastest and most secure way to submit your Treebate claim.
