WA Premier’s legacy will lead to safer roads around local schools

The Town of Mosman Park would like to extend its sincere gratitude and recognition to Mark McGowan, the outgoing Western Australian Premier, for his remarkable service and decisive leadership during his tenure.

Under Premier McGowan’s guidance, our community has successfully navigated the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, emerging stronger than ever. We commend him for his unwavering commitment to the well-being of Western Australians and the growth of our economy.

As the announcement of the 31st Premier for Western Australia draws near, the legacy left behind by Mark McGowan and his government team is undeniable.

One notable achievement is the significant improvement in road safety around Mosman Park Primary School, which will have a lasting impact on the safety of our students, parents, staff, and the entire community.

Mayor Paul Shaw warmly welcomes the recent announcement by the State Government of a $2.4 million boost to the kindergarten carpark.

“It marks a long-awaited victory for the Town, reflecting the persistent advocacy on behalf of Mosman Park Primary School. Our unwavering dedication to creating safer local roads has led to this triumph, and we will continue to exert maximum effort to ensure secure beach access at Wellington Street,” said Mayor Shaw.

“This vital investment will not only enhance the safety measures but also alleviate concerns regarding parking facilities around the school.”

The progress achieved so far is a testament to the collective efforts of the Town and the ongoing support received from the State Government.

The Town of Mosman Park wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation to Mark McGowan for his outstanding service as WA Premier and looks forward to the continued collaboration with the new leadership to further enhance the prosperity and well-being of our community. Together, the Town aspires to transform Mosman Park into a flourishing community where residents can live, work, and play in a safe and enjoyable environment.
