We’re staying open but with extra COVID-19 measures from 31 Jan

Keeping each other COVID-safe remains important, whether it’s at our workplace or in the community. Town of Mosman Park has an obligation to protect the wellbeing of our staff so we can continue to deliver essential services to our residents and ratepayers.

Starting 31 Monday, there will be changes to the delivery of essential Council services, as well as new requirements for visitors aged 16 and over.

To minimise a COVID outbreak at the Town, we’re staying ‘open’, but with extra health measures in place.

  • These changes will take effect from 8.30am on Monday 31 January until further notice.
  • From 31 January, the Town will be diverting to ‘contactless’ customer service across the whole organisation where possible.
  • From 31 January, the Town will be asking all visitors to show proof of vaccination or valid medical exemption before they can enter any Town building.
  • All public Council Meetings will be closed to the public during February and livestreamed instead.

If you need to make a payment or have a query/concern, please contact us by phone, email or via the website, rather than visit us in-person.

If you do need to visit us at the Administration Building and/or Works Depot:

All visitors will be asked to provide proof of current vaccination status (or valid medical exemption) before entering any Town building.

Any visitor unable to provide acceptable proof of vaccination will be denied entry into the building and our staff will offer to assist via a contactless method (i.e. phone, email, website, virtual meeting) instead of face-to-face.

Wearing a mask indoors, signing in via QR code (using the SafeWA or ServiceWA app), practising good hand hygiene and physical distancing remains mandatory on all Town premises.

Please note, waste collection and recycling services are not affected at this time. However, this may change at short notice due to the ever-evolving nature of State Government directives, so please keep checking our website for updates.

Rest assured, we are committed to helping our residents and ratepayers as best we can, while working hard to minimise disruptions to council services in the coming weeks and months.

In turn, we ask for your patience, kindness and understanding as we work hard to provide the most effective service delivery we can under the circumstances, while prioritising the health of our staff and community.

If you’re unsure as to what these changes means for you, please ring our Customer Service team on 9383 6600, or click here for more information.
