Western Knights Soccer Club U10s shine on and off the field

The Town of Mosman Park is proud to congratulate the Western Knights Soccer Club’s Under 10s team on their recent international success and community outreach during a landmark tour of Bali.

From April 17 to 20, the young team represented Mosman Park and Australia at one of Southeast Asia’s premier youth football tournaments, hosted by Bali United FC. Competing against over 360 teams from six countries, the Western Knights U10s delivered a remarkable performance—securing six wins out of seven matches.

This impressive achievement on the field was matched by the team’s commitment to making a positive impact off it. After the tournament, players, coaches, and families visited the Hope Children’s Orphanage, which tragically suffered a devastating fire in August last year. During their visit, the team generously donated Western Knights jerseys, shorts, and football equipment to support the children as they rebuild their home.

The joy on the faces of the children receiving the gear was a moving moment for all involved and a testament to the compassion and sportsmanship that the Western Knights SC instils in its players.

The Town of Mosman Park extends its gratitude and congratulations to all players, coaches, and families, with special thanks to Robbie Gaspar and Doug Black for organising this memorable tour. Your efforts have not only showcased the sporting talent of our young residents but also highlighted the values of kindness, community, and international goodwill that we cherish as a town.

We are immensely proud of the Western Knights U10s and look forward to seeing what this inspiring group of young athletes achieves next.
