Broad Leaf Weed Control – Town Sports Fields, Parks and Reserves

29 August 2025

Commencing in early September 2025, the Town will apply Stadium selective herbicide where required predominately in grassed areas at Town sports fields, parks and reserve locations to control selective weed species. Common weeds targeted include Bindii, clover, and capeweed. To minimise the Town's use of herbicides, only areas of infestation are treated in parks and reserves.

A fresh new look is coming to Glyde St

Council has adopted the Glyde Street Streetscape Masterplan, setting out a vibrant new vision with greener spaces, safer walking, better public amenities, and improved street design. Work will now progress on detailed designs, priority projects, parking investigations, and funding opportunities in consultation with the community.

WA Government announces Stolen Generations Redress Scheme

The WA Government has launched the Stolen Generations Redress Scheme to recognise the trauma experienced by Aboriginal people removed from their families before 1 July 1972. Eligible applicants may receive a payment of $85,000, with family members able to apply on behalf of loved ones who have passed away.

Sunset Eats returns to Mosman Park

Sunset Eats is returning to Mosman Park this season, bringing neighbours and friends together for evenings of street food, live music and community connection at Mann Oval. The free event series kicks off Sunday 5 October, with more dates on 16 November 2025 and 22 February 2026.

Enhancing Mosman Beach with new plantings
