Grants and Funding

The Town of Mosman Park offers two distinct grant programs aimed at empowering community initiatives and fostering positive impact.

Community Partnership Program

The Community Partnership Program supports larger-scale projects, programs, or events proposed by not-for‑profit organisations that deliver long-lasting benefit to the Mosman Park community by enhancing capacity, fostering innovation, and aligning with the Town’s Strategic Community Plan.

The Community Partnership Program (CPP) offers funding opportunities twice each financial year in July and January for well-designed projects that deliver long-term benefits to the Mosman Park community.

We focus on supporting initiatives that build community capacity, foster innovation, and align with the Town’s Strategic Community Plan: Connecting, Sustaining, Thriving. All applications undergo a rigorous review: an independent assessment panel evaluates proposals and makes recommendations to Council; final funding decisions are formally adopted at an Ordinary Council Meeting.

Applicants must submit a completed application form and be an incorporated not-for-profit organisation, based on or providing a direct service to the Mosman Park community.

Community Connector Grant – COMING SOON!

The Community Connector Grant is designed to support small‑scale, community-led initiatives, events or activities that deliver impact quickly, no idea is too small. Open year‑round until the budget runs out, this grant process enables fast decisions for not‑for‑profit groups.

The Community Connector Grant is accessible year-round until the allocated budget is fully utilised, allowing for one grant per applicant each financial year.

Specifically designed for community-led initiatives that need fast support, it offers a streamlined application and approval process, typically finalised within three weeks via CEO endorsement. Grants are capped at $750 per successful application.

Applicants will need to complete a concise application form, outlining the project and funding request. To ensure sufficient preparation time, the Town requires a minimum of four weeks’ notice before the proposed start date of the activity or event. The program welcomes applications from incorporated not-for-profit organisations and local community groups operating within or benefitting Mosman Park.
