Volunteer Awards

Every year, the Town of Mosman Park acknowledges the fantastic volunteers who make Mosman Park a great place to live, by holding a function in their honour in October.  As part of the celebration, the Town is looking to name Mosman Park’s “Volunteer of the Year” based on nominations received from the community.

Start thinking about people you know who dedicate their valuable time and energy to making Mosman Park a better place to live.

We are seeking nominations for community volunteers as well as those who have made a contribution over ten or more years.

If you have any questions about the Awards, please contact Katie Fairhall by email to kfairhall@mosmanpark.wa.gov.au or call 9384 1633.

Community Visitors Scheme

The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) is a national program that provides companionship to socially isolated people living in Australian Government-funded aged care homes.

Volunteering as a community visitor can be a rewarding experience. By befriending an older person living in an aged care home, volunteers have a chance to make a positive difference to the residents life, as well as their own.

If you would like to refer a resident to the CVS or would like more information about becoming a volunteer, please click here. You can also contact Sue Lambson via email to cvs@claremontbaptistchurch.com or by calling 0437 167 711.
